With rumors beginning to circulate after losing to his former club over the weekend, it’s been announced that David Moyes has been sacked as manager of Man Utd. The Scottish figure was informed earlier this morning at the club’s training ground, following a meeting with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, with Ryan Giggs set to step in as player-manager for the time being. Moyes was handed the task of leading the Manchester club just 10 months ago after Alex Ferguson’s 26-year reign, but success has been hard to find this season as they sit in seventh position and are guaranteed to have their lowest points in history.
What are your thoughts on the decision? Who should takeover the job?
BREAKING: The club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role. (part 2 of 2)
