Adrien Broner (29-1)
We really wish Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner and Floyd Mayweather weren’t fond of each other, because the battle of trash talking and showboating would be the biggest the world of boxing could see in their lifetime. The former WBC lightweight champion, WBO super featherweight champion and WBA welterweight champion (also sometimes rapper) only has one loss ever in his tender 6-year career to Marcos Maidana. Coincidentally, Maidana went to give Floyd one of his toughest bouts in recent memory last spring and summer.
While Marcos had an easy time solving the long-awaited answer to The Problem last December to obtain the WBA Welterweight title, he was worked in back-to-back 12-round losses against Money Mayweather. Broner has an upcoming fight next year against WBC Inter-Continental Light Welterweight, Lucas Matthysse to inch closer back to The Ring’s top 5 pound-for-pound fighters in the world. Although a bout with Floyd Mayweather is unlikely to happen, The Problem could face one major opponent in time in time for Money’s exit from the ring.
