The Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz played tonight and unless you leave in the respected cities or were bored on League Pass, chances are you didn’t catch it. One thing you will be seeing all over Top Plays for the next day or so will definitely be this nasty DeMar DeRozan, though.
On a routine play and without warning, DeRozan took it to the whole and went for the rim with vengeance. His victim? Rudy Gobert, the rim protecting center who is good for a few blocks every game. The thing is, the play went anything but what he expected. DeMar gave it to him in the worst way, posterizing him something ridiculous.
Unfortuntely, Toronto still ended up losing the game against the sneaky Jazz, who were led by strong play from Rodney Hood, Derrik Favors and Gordon Hayward. Lowkey, Utah is 6-5 in the tough Western Conference. The Raptors drop to 7-6 on the season.
