At least the player’s are on Cousin’s side
As the Sacramento Kings are set to miss the playoffs once again in a few days, the uncomfortable relationship between DeMarcus Cousins and George Karl is almost over. Even after the team allowing George to hand down a suspension last month to their star player, Boogie still isn’t holding back any chance he gets to openly mock the long-time coach he’s at odds with.
Last week, Karl was asked about his roster and Seth Curry – saying the brother of the league’s best player has a couple of years to have a spot in the NBA. This prompted Curry to answer back Sunday night against the Dallas Mavericks, scoring 14 points off the bench.
Before leaving the court, Seth partook in a post-game interview, which was immediately video-bombed by Cousins, who said “he would be in the league for a long time,” – mocking the head coach.
The marriage between Karl and the Kings is set to end right after the season, but we’re enjoying the final days of this saga. Let us know in the comments whether Seth has legit chance to stay.
