Surprising news out of Denver today, as the Nuggets announced that head coach George Karl will not be back next season. Karl has spend the last 8 seasons in Denver and is coming off a very successful year, in which he won the NBA Coach Of The Year award.
Karl will not be out of work for long though, because sources say he is very interested in the open Los Angeles Clippers job. That seems like it would be a great fit for GK, who is known to get the most out of his players. Karl could also be in play for the Memphis Grizzlies job, if they can’t come to terms with their current head coach Lionel Hollins.
