It was deja-vu for every Chicago Bulls fan last night when they saw Derrick Rose hurt his knee on a non-contact play late against the Trailblazers. This is not the same knee that Rose hurt the last time, but the results could be the same. As you can see above, Rose couldn’t put any pressure on the leg and in the words of Coach Tibbs was in “lots of pain.”
Rose is scheduled to have a MRI on the knee this afternoon and then the full details of the injury will be known. Right now the entire sports world is waiting to hear the results, but most are fearful of the worst case scenario of another torn ACL for Rose. We will continue to update with more on this story as it progresses.
