There have been many players that switched teams and are returning to face their old squads this week. Sporting the blue, orange and white uniforms now, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah made it back to the United Center for the first time since signing with the New York Knicks to face their old team, the Chicago Bulls.
And they had much to prove.
While Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks in scoring on the night, Rose put up a solid 15 points and 11 assists, while Noah knocked down 16 points of his own and 9 rebounds.
Both connected on multiple plays together, doing what they did best in Chicago, except for their new team. And it was in a winning effort, so that’s what meant most to them.
On the other side of the ball Dwyane Wade snapped and scored 35 points and brought down 10 boards, while Jimmy Butler finished with 26 points, but it wasn’t enough.
