Derrick Rose Out For The Season After Meniscus Surgery

Derrick Rose Has Déjà Vu With Season Ending Surgery For 2014.

After missing the entire 2013 season with an ACL tear during the 2012 playoffs, Derrick Rose will sadly have to miss the 2014 season after suffering a torn meniscus. Rose had surgery earlier this Morning, when Doctors revealed he would need until next year to properly heal his knee if he ever wanted to continue his career in the NBA at an elite level. In a game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Rose injured his GOOD right knee (not the previously injured one) and would have an MRI the following morning revealing the badness.

While reporters are saying Rose is currently in his prime, NBA players usually don’t hit their prime until 29 and the age of 30 years old. Rose at the age of 25 will have mental problems after having another major setback missing his 2nd consecutive season; which our positive thoughts go out to Rose’s inner-circle in this bad time. Loul Deng has been the constant target of trade rumors, which Bulls management may be looking to trade him before February’s deadline and get something worth in trade value. Check after the jump for more on the story.
