As expected, Diego Costa has completed his move to Chelsea today after passing the medical examination. Both the London club and Atletico Madrid agreed terms over the player several weeks ago, but the Spanish striker has now been confirmed to play in the Premier League next season, off the back of a triumphant season of winning the La Liga and coming runners-up in the Champions League behind Real Madrid, and scoring 36 goals in 52 games. Costa originally joined Atletico in 2010 from Valladolid, and has since become one of the most important attacking players in world football, with Chelsea fans being able to see his talent during the World Cup.
