Toronto Raptors Global Ambassador Drizzy Drake is known to yell at players or cheer extra from his seat courtside at Air Canada Centre in The 6.
Tonight for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference playoffs with the Washington Wizards, the Raptors sixth man had words for opposing players like Kelly Oubre Jr. and John Wall during crucial parts of the game. We always catch Drake out of his seat getting the crowd going like a concert on the sidelines.
The first when C.J. Miles hit a triple from way downtown with seven minutes left in the fourth, while the second was after a DeMar DeRozan bucket shortly after to give Toronto more of a cushion with the lead.
Ultimately, the Raptors won 130-119 against the Wizards.
Don’t think there’s beef between Drizzy and Oubre Jr., though. The self-proclaimed A-List basketball player and entertainer says he and the 6 God kill the streets in Los Angeles during the summer. Mind you, Drake called him a bum and Kelly said he was a great rapper. It’s all love.
Kelly Oubre Jr. heard Drake call him a "bum" during Game 2. "That’s my guy though. I see him in the summer time… we pretty much run the streets of LA together, on the A-list tip, not in the hood way. He is a great rapper.” pic.twitter.com/WWPchLCJAl
