It was a big Saturday night for Drake. Not only did he host OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1, but he world premiered his new single from Views From The 6, “Summer Sixteen.”
Over in Toronto, Drizzy was also invited to the broadcast chair during the Toronto Raptors‘ home game against the Detroit Pistons. During the third quarter, the announcers gave Drake a chance to speak about the upcoming NBA All-Star game in T Dot, the new single he had just dropped and what the team is looking like this season. He agreed that the Raptors may have one of the best backcourts in the league with DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry and said he’s looking forward to how they end the year.
He actually said putting the headphones gave him the powers to come up with some real basketball lingo. Toronto ended up defeating Detroit 111-107 on the night.
