UPDATE: Video of the incident has surfaced
Just after a winning week for the Golden State Warriors when they landed Kevin Durant as a free agent, things have come back to earth for the team. In a bit of bad news, their coveted forward Draymond Green was arrested in East Lansing, MI on assault charges on Sunday night.
Police say the incident involved another man at a restaurant.
Draymond was released on $200 bondon Sunday and arraignment will take place on July 20. Green will face a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine if convicted.
The Warriors had this to say on the situation:
“At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation”
