Cursing out the team won’t happen again from Draymond Green….
We have to admit, all of this hate for the Golden State Warriors from past NBA icons, current players, sports fans and trolls is only making us like the Bay Area team that much more.
As much as we’d love to see Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook win an NBA Championship this summer, it would mean more seeing the faces of people who dislike the play of Dub Nation – who haven’t had any off-the-court issues as a collective. During their jaw-dropping over-time victory over the weekend against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Draymond Green reportedly cursed out Steve Kerr and the rest of his teammates for poor play at half-time. Things got so loud, that everyone waiting outside of their locker room, including members of the ESPN team could hear every word.
While cooler heads obviously prevailed thanks to Steph Curry draining the greatest regular season shot ever, Green admitted he made a mistake and let his emotions get the best of him.
Earlier today on ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A. Smith recounted the situation of revealing Green became offended after Kerr showed game tape of singling out Draymond’s mistakes. Kerr gave the best response possible, sarcastically saying, “Oh Stephen A. said that? Oh sorry. It’s my mistake. I didn’t see him in the locker room. So if he was there, then yeah. My fault.”
