Dwight Howard Talks Expectations for Houston Rockets After Chris Bosh Fail

Superman remains optimistic with James Harden for post-season run.

Two years removed from back surgery, Dwight Howard is still transitioning back into becoming the player most fans fell in love with. Even working with Hakeem Olajuwon and training, Howard still says he’s adding to his game and is back to focusing on dominating both sides of the court like years past.

Houston had arguably the worst off-season among all franchises, following their heartbreak loss in the playoffs to the infamous Damian Lillard series-ending game winner, which sent them packing. Team GM, Daryl Morey immediately focused on the team’s free agency period over the summer with hopes of landing Chris Bosh.

They soon aded away an unhappy Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin to make cap-room for Bosh but received bad news when Pat Riley announced his stretch-four would be staying with Miami on a maximum deal.

Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks would also add to the list of Houston’s problems inking Chandler Parsons to a multi-year extension – more than what the Rockets were willing to pay for. Although the Rockets finally added three-point shooting signing veterans Jason Terry and Trevor Ariza, they’re still a few players away from being legitimate contenders. Marc Stein of ESPN was at the Rockets training facility a few days ago and got a chance to speak with Superman about upcoming expectations for the season with James Harden and company.
