Dwyane Wade Talks Gun Violence in Chicago on GMA

It has been a hard few weeks for Dwyane Wade. His cousin Nykea Aldridge was killed in Chicago, while walking down the street with her child. As someone who moved back home, this was a devastating blow for Wade and his family. Dwyane has actually been active in the community to help the murder epidemic in the Chi, which has reached record highs in at least the last two decades.

In his talk with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America, Wade opened up about the hurt him and his family is currently going though, how he’s been taking to people in the city to help raise awareness in the city and across the country and why he thinks kids nowadays are engaging in this behavior. He also spoke on his own sons, who ask him certain questions that he can’t answer.

Lastly, he briefly touched on the Donald Trump tweet that spoke on his family.
