Dwyane Wade Vows to Return to Basketball Only in Miami Heat Uniform

You can breathe easy Miami Heat fans. Dwyane Wade isn’t going to China to play basketball. He wants to stay in the 305, whether he’s on the court or not. For the time being, he’s letting his agent handle all of his business affairs, so until the two sides agree to terms, he’s not worrying about that much.

“If I’m playing the game of basketball this year, it’ll be in a Miami uniform.”

Wade County’s veteran presence in the locker room and off the bench can continue helping the young players as the Heat continue rebuilding.

Throughout the interview with the media, D-Wade acknowledged that things aren’t like they used to and he’s not negotiating for $100 million dollar contracts anymore. He also spoke about the love he gets in China why he’s doing what’s best for his family now, because he tried to enjoy the green grass on the other side (see: Chicago) and it didn’t work out.
