We all know him on the field as Megatron as some would even call him the best player in all of football; but in the latest investigative bit of the E:60 series, we get a rare glimpse into private life of the small town Georgia native, Calvin Johnson. Since playing in the NFL, CJ’s became one of the biggest names in football achieving nearly 6,000 yards in his first five seasons as he has a goal set every year for grabbing 1,000 yards at the minimum every season.
Before playing professionally, Johnson had the option of playing for the biggest football programs in the country but decided to stay home in his comfort level accepting a scholarship to play for Georgia Tech. His plans initially were to only go school with the football scholarship in hand and graduate from the G-Tech Institute of Technology to become an engineer but things quickly changed when he became one of the best wide-outs in college.
