Watch ESPN’s 30 For 30: ‘Celtics/Lakers: Best Of Enemies’ Documentary

If you’ve been tuned in to ESPN, you’ve probably been seeing commercials for the network’s new 30 for 30 special about one of the greatest rivalries in all of professional sports.

Part 1 and Part 2 of Celtics/Lakers: Best Of Enemies aired tonight and it told the story of the two teams in Los Angeles and Boston and how they battled for years in the NBA Finals, even after some of the greats retired and a new era of stars were drafted by both sides. In the first part, they focused on the early days and how the Celtics and Lakers became super powers in the league. The second part focused on the new era of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird and how both teams crafted their own squads to face each other for the championships.

Any basketball fan should watch this, even for as long it is. Part 3 will air tomorrow on ESPN at 8:00 pm EST. Or watch the full documentary on WatchESPN now with a cable subscriber.

It was narrated by Ice Cube, as well.
