Indianapolis Colts

– Admit defeat with T-Rich & move on
– Draft defensively

Indianapolis Colts GM Ryan Grigson looked like a genius when he struck the deal that would take Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns and plant him in Indy, but it’s about time he and whole organization leaves the idea of Richardson as a No. 1 runner in the past.

Especially with Ahmad Bradshaw a free agent, the Colts are in need of not only a dependable runner, but depth at the running back position. One bright spot is Dan Herron, a young runner who showed some solid potential at the end of last season for Indy. They’ll need more than Herron, but he’s a good place to start. Could they possibly go after DeMarco Murray and give themselves the best chance to dethrone the New England Patriots in the AFC?

Another thing the Colts must improve upon is their defense. The draft will be a prime chance for them to reel in some nice talent in order to strengthen their defense and compete for a Lombardi again next year.
