Seattle Seahawks

– Add depth along offensive line
– Focus on developing young talent in receiving corps

Despite losing to the Patriots in the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks are still in a good position moving forward. They’re a young and talented team, and that youth is only going to develop and blossom into a solid group of players.

While the team has a nice corps, they could surely add some depth at some position, mainly along the offensive line. They filled it out nicely with then-rookie Justin Britt last year, but their starting group has very little talent behind it—even the starting five isn’t the overwhelmingly good. It’d be prudent of them to grab a couple of veterans in free agency and plug them in if needed, which would also be good for the young guys still picking up on the ins and outs of the NFL.

Speaking of young guys, Seattle has a pretty young receiving corps overall—they have an average age of 26. They lack a true No. 1 as it stands currently, but their newer guys like Kevin Norwood and Paul Richardson have shown flashes of top-flight ability. The ‘Hawks need to focus on cultivating these young guys and molding them into the best receivers they can be.
