One of the most talked about talents from this past NFL Draft has been Ezekiel Elliott from the Dallas Cowboys. With the rookie running in front of that elite offensive line, it’s only a matter time before he turns into a monster.
Today against the New York Giants, Zeke got his first NFL touchdown after a Brandon Carr interception that gave the Cowboys the ball back. From about the 8 yard line, Elliott got some great blocking and he cut back and ran through the hole for the leaping TD.
Ezekiel finished the game with 51 yards rushing on 20 carries.
Unfortunately, the Cowboys lost a close one at home to the Giants, when Eli Manning hit Victor Cruz for the go-ahead touchdown that ultimately sealed the game.
