The Falcons got some terrible news today when they learned that All-Pro wideout Julio Jones will most likely miss the rest of the season with a foot injury. This already comes at a horrible time for Atlanta, who fell to 1-4 on the season last night after losing the the upstart New York Jets. Jones is still set to see another specialist this week for a second opinion on the initial diagnosis.
With Jones out, added pressure is on the rest of the Falcons offense, which will also be without Roddy White for a few games as he heals from a hamstring injury. This means big problems for Matt Ryan and company, as they can’t afford to lost too many more games this year without falling into a hole they wouldn’t be able to get out of.
