Do you know what time it is? The end of the Fantasy Football regular season is almost upon us, because in most standard leagues, this is the last week before the playoffs. Are you still in the hunt? Do you need a win this week to get in? That’s the case for many teams out there and with most trade deadlines done, the waiver wire is your place to make late additions. Watching injury situations is also key this time of the year. So before you set those lineups take a peek at some important notes we have to recap the past week.
Players To Add
- Brandon Bolden – Bolden appears to be getting a shot to start at RB for the Patriots with Ridley and Blount having fumbling issues. If he starts the game well, he could get plenty of carries by the time the final whistle blows.
- Mike Glennon – Glennon is tearing it up for Tampa right now, so if you need an option at a second QB, you could always look his way.
- Jared Cook – Cook hasn’t panned out this year like most fantasy experts thought, but lately he has been putting up some points. If you need a TE down the stretch, he’s not a bad option.
- Nate Burleson – Burleson is back for the Lions and will always get looks with all the attention that Megatron gets. If he is available in waivers, we suggest you put in a claim for the playoffs.
- Daryl Richardson – With Zac Stacy banged up for St. Louis, adding Richardson to the lineup is a smart move, barring he stays healthy himself.
Key Injuries
- Zac Stacy – Stacey has been one of the many surprises this year for fantasy owners, but unfortunately he did suffer a concussion on Sunday. He will need to be monitored day to day and may be a risk to have in your lineup on Sunday.
- Matt Forte – The Bears believe Forte suffered a minor hyperextension on Sunday and there is really no word on if he will play this week.
- Knowshon Moreno – Knowshon had a career game on Sunday night, but still left the stadium on crutches. The Broncos say he is fine, but it would be smart to have a backup plan in case he needs to miss time.
