Injuries and flops keep piling on for some teams and it seems like every fantasy football game is coming down to the wire for some. Like me. It seems like I can’t win in definitive fashion. For whatever reason, the past few weeks have been decided in the Monday night game. Luckily, I’ve pulled through victorious, but the anxiety and stress levels were reasonably high.
I’ll admit it too. I sat Demaryius Thomas this week in one league because I thought he was going to have another dud of a game (I have Emmanuel Sanders too) and traded Matt Forte for Julius Thomas and Cordarrelle Patterson. And somehow I still came up with the W. The fantasy gods continue on my side.
I was lucky, though. Some didn’t make it through. I dedicate this post every week to those people.
If you haven’t been keeping track, some of the “swoops” I keep bringing up are legit starters now. Yeah, a few flopped, but it happens. I have Shady McCoy in one league and he hasn’t done anything for me this year. I’m hoping that changes.
There’s some good running backs out of Denver and San Diego to look at and if you need someone at QB desperately, I have your fix in St. Louis of all places. Oh, and a rookie in New York (Giants, not Jets) is getting some love too. LSU, what up!
