Festus Ezeli Blocks Blake Griffin’s Big Dunk With Authority

NOT IN THE WARRIORS’ HOUSE

Oracle Arena was completely lit tonight as the Los Angeles Clippers came to Oakland to face their arch nemesis and the current NBA Champions: Golden State Warriors.

While it was the usual Steph Curry show throughout the night, Festus Ezeli had a lowkey very good game, putting up buckets in the paint when the Clippers defense was caught slipping and dominating down low on both sides of the floor. The highlight of the night for him came on defense, though. During a pick and roll play worked to perfection, Blake Griffin went to throw down the dunk and posterize the shit out of Ezeli but he told him to get out of the paint with a monster block.

While Golden State held the lead for the good part of three quarters, Los Angeles crawled back in the 4th quarter and gave the Warriors a scare for a second. That was until the starters came back into the game and the lights out shooting from Harrison Barnes and Chef Curry from beyond the arch put them up for good. They erased an eight point deficit like it was nothing.

The Curry vs. CP3 duel!

Curry ended the game with 31 points and led all scorers on the floor, while grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists. Barnes almost finished with a double-double, as he brought down 9 rebounds and 17 points for Golden State.

Chris Paul led all Clippers in points with 24 of hos own and 9 assists.

The win continues the Warriors undefeated 2015-2016 run to start the season, with the Denver Nuggets game on deck as they come to town on Friday.
