Finn Bálor injured at SummerSlam
Last week, Finn Balor saw a career milestone in his short-time with WWE, as he became the first ever Universal Champion. During his match against Seth Rollins, Balor landed awkwardly on his shoulder, which doctors and medical staff backstage would find out that it was torn labrum.
The veteran professional wrestlers would immediately have successful shoulder surgery – which revealed he would be sidelined for 6 months. However, the person who Finn was in the ring with during his injury, Seth Rollins, has seen some criticism over the last few days from well-known names in the squared-circle – including Bret Hart.
Many felt that Rollins wasn’t ring safe, saying this isn’t the first time he’s contributed to an athlete injuring himself in the ring. This prompted Balor to respond to those critics in an interview with Jim Ross a few days later and here’s what he had to say below.
