Florida State apparently did enough this week in the eyes of the computers because last night when the BCS standings for the week were announced they leapfrogged Oregon once again. The solely took over the #2 spot while Oregon is bumped to #3 followed by Ohio State and Stanford to round out the top 5. The Ducks shouldn’t have any worries though because if they win their game against Stanford on Thursday night they will surely take over that #2 spot yet again.
Looking at the overall schedules heading down the stretch if Oregon is able to win out it looks like it would be enough to be out Florida State, whose schedule is not nearly as tough. Will Oregon be able to do it though? That is a question we will know the answer to in the coming weeks, but all eyes will be on their game vs. Stanford on Thursday night we can tell you that.
