Taking a break from his intense training leading up to the big fight against Canelo Alvarez, Floyd Mayweather addressed the media during his public workout Thursday. Miguel Cotto’s camp has said Floyd might try and run from Alvarez, but he said he’s looking for a knockout finish in two weeks.
Both fighters are undefeated, which Mayweather showed extreme respect for Canelo with both agreeing to random drug testing in order to giving the fans the biggest fight we could see this year. It’s been over 6 years since he had two fights in one year, as he briefly touched on being sharper in his upcoming bout in comparison to his 12-round unanimous decision victory over Robert Guerrero to win the Ring Welterweight title.
