The standout back is going pro

The running back class for the 2015 NFL Draft just got a little stronger. Georgia Bulldogs RB Todd Gurley has decided to enter the upcoming draft.

Gurley spent most of the season on either injury reserve or suspended, but scouts still see him as a viable pick and can go as early as the end of the first round. He missed four games earlier in the season for taking $3,000 to autograph memorabilia and other items over the span of two years. Unfortunately on his first game back, he suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament, which ended his season early.

In six games of the college season, Gurley ran for 911 yards and scored nine touchdowns, averaging 7.4 yards per carry. During his span at Georgia, he rushed for 3,285 yards and 36 touchdowns.

Georgia will play Louisville in the Belk Bowl on Tuesday, December 30 on ESPN.
