Giannis Antetokounmpo Explains His Feelings on Jason Kidd’s Firing

Just a few days ago, the Milwaukee Bucks shocked the NBA world and fired head coach Jason Kidd. Not only were fans surprised at the news, but so were the players. One in particular, Giannis Antetokounmpo, was reported to be “devastated” at the news.

In talking to the media, the Greek Freak spoke on how he feels about his coach being let go and what he’s doing moving forward to make sure his team wins.

He started out the interview by saying that he wished the conversation between him and Kidd was kept private (he called Jason before the Bucks did to notify him of his firing) and how much he means to him, as a person. He also said that this latest incident has not caused a rift between him and the organization, and his goal is to continue winning. He credits Kidd with giving him the confidence to put the ball in his hands when he doubted himself and turn him into a bonafied superstar in the league.
