The Golden State Warriors just got better. In a reported trade with the Boston Celtics, sources are saying that they have acquired some much needed guard depth in both Jordan Crawford and Marshon Brooks. If you are unaware of Jordan Crawford, then all you really need to know is he can score the basketball at will. The addition of both Crawford and Brooks give the Warriors an instant boost they desperately need to make a deep run in the playoffs.
Boston will receive two draft picks from the Miami Heat in the deal, as well as Joel Anthony. Miami in return gets Toney Douglas from Golden State and likely means that they are heaving into the Greg Oden experiment by getting rid of Anthony. This move for Boston means that they are officially in full tank mode and that Rajon Rondo is most likely very close to being back from his ACL injury if they are shedding their guard depth.
What do you think of the deal? Did the Warriors get a steal? Let us know after the jump.
