The tough news about Craig Sager‘s cancer not being in remission surfaced this week and the entire NBA sent their best wishes for the TNT sideline reporter. As most basketball fans know, he endured chemotherapy and beat the disease for the time being, but it seems like the cancer is back. One person that hates in-game interviews, but loves it when Sager asks him the questions is surprisingly, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.
In a clip from HBO’s Real Sports, Coach Pop talked about why he has such a love towards Craig and why he doesn’t mind being interviewed by him in-between quarters, when he loathes it if it was anybody else. He also tried to explain his sense of style and why he appreciates his work.
