Hassan Whiteside’s NASTY Block Against Pascal Siakam

We all know the defensive ability that Hassan Whiteside, but he took it to another level during last night’s game against the Toronto Raptors. Specifically on one play against Pascal Siakam.

On a drive to the hoop after a pick-and-roll, the young rookie took the ball the hole and set himself up for a nice hook. The only problem was Whiteside was standing right there and happened to jump, grab the ball and start the fast break up the court. Seriously, the arm span was so crazy, he just jumped up and caught the ball like a receiver and then turned around to get back in transition.

Whiteside finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds on the night, but the Miami Heat still lost.

Apparently, they had no answer for DeMar DeRozan, who continues to spazz to start the season. The Toronto guard exploded for 34 points, making it his fifth straight game with over 30 points.

FINAL: TOR 96 | MIA 87
