HBO PPV: Chavez Jr. vs. Martinez | Tonight At 9

It’s still business, but this is more personal.

Tonight, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. WBC middleweight title on the line against Sergio Martinez for his middleweight Ring Mazine belt. In his 8-year career in professional boxing, Julio César Chávez, Jr. is undefeated with 46 wins on 32 coming via knockout. Before Chavez won the WBC Middleweight title in June of 2011, it was previously held by Martinez who was stripped of the belt after a fight with WBO light middle champion Sergei Dzinzurik who lost the fight, but didn’t loose the fight.

On Friday at weigh-ins, Sergio Martinez who’s a 2-1 favorite in tonight’s bout, made a bold prediction of punishing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. then knocking him out when he feels like it. Tonight there’s a lot instake for this fight as Chavez Jr. is trying to keep undefeated streak active to escape from under the shadow of his father; while the 37-year old Martinez plans to let off some steam, to say the least and regain his belt.

Be sure to tune in tonight as this fight emanates live from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Watch live On PPV at 9:00pm ET (6:00pm PT).
