We don’t see a lot of high school highlights around these parts, but this one was worthy of the shine. On Tuesday night, the Chief Sealth High Seahawks played against local Garfield High School Bulldogs (both from Seattle) and towards the end of the game, the Seahawks’ Hafid Yassin got an inbounds alley-oop that he threw down over the top of a defender. Yassin can clearly be seen using his knee to get even more elevation, with his head getting above the hoop for the slam. Talk about MAJOR hops!
The crowd went wild, but this wasn’t enough for the win. Chief Sealth lost to Garfield 96-55.
