LaMarcus Aldridge Out Duels Dwight Howard Finishing With 31 Points & 25 Rebounds In 111-104 Win.
Last week, the Portland Trailblazers were officially no longer under the radar after defeating both the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder in consecutive games. LaMarcus Aldridge has been having a career season averaging 23 points a game along with 10 boards, as he continued that trend last night with a major double-double.
The Houston Rockets were on break since last Sunday; but still managed to avoid playing sluggish for most of the game, remaining in striking distance throughout the duration of intermission. Dwight Howard finished with a monstrous game scoring 32 and grabbing 17 boards, with help from James Harden adding in 25 points and 7 boards.
The story of the game however was the Blazers bench, as Mo Williams nearly outscored the Rockets reserves alone chipping in 13 points. Damian Lillard finished 1-10 as the only starter who didn’t get into double digits, but LaMarcus Aldridge’s 31 points and 25 rebounds more than made up for his lack of efficiency last night.
