This Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers season matchup is just heating up because we’re only two games in, out of four meetings between the two. And that’s not even counting how deep these two will take it into the playoffs. But AmericanAirlines Arena was ready for a great show out on the court and they certainly got one on Wednesday night.

With LeBron James banged up and iffy to play to start the game, Miami went down by as much as 15 points on their home court, but they would rally late in the 4th quarter thanks to a clinic from downtown to close out, including one from Shuttlesworth himself, draining the go-ahead basket that gave the Heat a 97-94 victory over the Pacers.

Turnovers converted to transition baskets ultimately hurt the Pacers down the stretch, so much that not even Paul George could save them in the end.

Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 32 points tonight, while LeBron James added 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists of his own. On the other side of the ball, Paul George put up 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, and teammate David West scored 23.

The Pacers and Heat will not face each other again until March of 2014.
