Playing without Dwyane Wade for the fourth time this season (to rest a sore knee), the Detroit Pistons proved to be a little much for the Miami Heat at home. LeBron James and Michael Beasley both scored 25 points for the Heat, but the all-around play from the Pistons’ Greg Jennings, Josh Smith, Andre Drummond and Kyle Singler —off the bench— was enough for them to pull away at American Airlines Arena.

The Heat shot a season-low 44 percent from the field, turned the ball over more and were outrebounded in tonight’s effort, which successfully ended their 10-game winning streak and giving them their fourth loss of the year.
