Was Russell Westbrook even out with a lateral meniscus tear for past six-months? He certainly didn’t look like it on the court in tonight’s Oklahoma City Thunder game vs. the Phoenix Suns, playing as aggressive as we remember him.
The all-star guard returned to his old-self and scored 21 points, then dished out the rock for nine assists in the Thunder’s 103-96 win Sunday night.

This comes three to five weeks earlier than expected, after the Thunder originally claimed he would return as early as two weeks from now. As it turns out, Westbrook only missed two games and gave Kevin Durant and OKC the spark they needed in his 2013 debut.
Oklahoma City stays at home to host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
