Ben Simmons makes his summer debut with Philly!
Following a crazy Fourth of July in NBA Free Agency, the league held a national on NBA TV, with Philadelphia and Boston. However, the Monday evening game quickly became must-see TV for most, when we found out Ben Simmons was having his summer league professional debut for the 76ers.
In just under 24-minutes of play, the no. 1 overall pick of last month’s draft obtained a respectable 10 point, 8 rebound and 5 assist stat-line, but left the game with a minor leg injury.
As you can see in the highlights above, the early comparisons to LeBron James are present in the 90-second clip – featuring nearly-impossible passes, as well as his athleticism.
Let us know in the comments if you think Simmons is the next coming.
