Could Nick Saban really leave the Alabama Crimson Tide? Apparently, there is a good amount of thought around certain circles, that believe Saban could seriously be leaning towards leaving Alabama and bolting to coach the Texas Longhorns.
But why would Saban do this after winning back to back national titles with Alabama and being the clear favorite to win a third straight this year?
Sources (his agent, actually) are saying that Saban is feeling “special pressure” at ‘Bama and it may be getting to him. This might be the same SEC pressure that got to Urban Meyer and led him to leave Florida unexpectedly. We don’t know, but this is a story that we will keep close eyes on moving forward. Let’s hope it’s just talk.
