Lastly, and the most important decision for the Heat organization lies in the hands of their leader Lebron James. While watching the Finals series this year, it sadly reminded us of the Cavs matchup against the Spurs in James’ early days and it had to feel that way for the King at times. So will he risk it again by staying in Miami, putting his faith in Pat Riley to build around him once more, or will he give in to the persistent rumor of the star heading back to Cleveland?
The roster has greatly improved with stars Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett (?) and they have the number one pick overall….again. But, is that enough for the King to return to a hometown that hated him beyond anything we’ve ever seen?
Another very interesting storyline that has been developing is the possibility of his long time friend Carmelo Anthony joining him in Miami. The two have been friends since high school and made several comments leading many to believe they would love to play together if the situation was right. The time may be now. James clearly would love the instant offense Anthony could contribute and the natural point guard in the 6’8 frame would flourish without doubt.
