In 2007, Isiah Thomas was at the forefront of a $12 million dollar lawsuit against The Madison Square Garden Company for an alleged sexual harassment complaint of a former female executive. New York Knicks Owner James Dolan and Thomas were featured on a recent segment of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel to publicly speak for the first time ever regarding the situation.
Isiah reportedly called the plaintiff a bitch and a hoe to her face – which led to her suing the company after being fired. Dolan, who didn’t want to indicate any admission of guilt settling outside of court, he had to actually pay the full previously reported full amount of lawsuit.
Coincidentally, he re-hired Thomas back to Madison Square Garden as Team President overseeing all business and basketball operations for the WNBA New York Liberty. Take a look at the brief interview above, where the two discuss how the recent hiring isn’t a fuck you to the fans.
