33 years ago, Joe Montana made a huge play in the NFC Championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. With the game on the line, Montana threw a touchdown to Dwight Clark in the back of the end zone and cemented San Francisco’s place in the NFC in the 1980’s, which turned into a dynasty reign following.
With football season halfway over, James Corden has decided to recreate one of the most memorable events in NFL history with the legend himself.
In hilarious fashion, they had to do more than a few takes, considering James has absolutely no athletic abilities. He even had to grab a trampoline to help him jump because he couldn’t high enough to make the catch. To add another dynamic to the reenactment, Corden brought young football players to help give him competition.
After numerous tries, the two finally connected and scored the touchdown.
