Jared Goff Throws First Career NFL Touchdown

Let’s face it, it’s been a long road for Jared Goff to become the starter in a St. Louis Rams uniform. He didn’t look particularly well in the preseason and/or in his first start last week, but he is going off against the New Orleans Saints.

Granted, the Saints have absolutely run up the score and the Goff would have to throw six touchdowns to even be in the game, but at least he’s thrown multiple touchdowns.

His first TD came on a corner route to Tavon Austin, who caught the pass for 24-yards.

The second touchdown came in the red zone on a slant by Kenny Britt. Then his third came on a deeper route to Lance Kendricks, who was sitting almost wide open in the middle of the defense and stretched out for the 15-yard score.

Goff has thrown for 210 yards on 20/32 attempts with one interception so far.
