Jared Goff Will Finally Start A Game for Los Angeles Rams

Coach Jeff Fisher has taken heat this year for the simple fact that he downplayed Jared Goff as a starter for most of the season. He kept saying that he wasn’t ready and stuck to Case Keenum as his starting quarterback. Now, the tide has changed in Los Angeles.

Goff is finally getting the start this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins at home.

Though he didn’t look impressive during the pre-season (if you watched HBO’s Hard Knocks), the coaching staff said the first pick in the 2016 NFL Draft has been improving.

The change comes as the Rams failed to score another touchdown offensively (for the third time) last week against the New York Jets. They still managed to win the game 9-6, though.

Los Angeles is 4-5 on the season and can still make a push for the playoffs, so now it’s on the rookie to will them to victory. As of now, five quarterbacks taken after Goff in the draft have started for their respective teams. The likes of Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott have been the highlight from the rookie class thus far.
