Things have not been so peachy for Jason Kidd and the Brooklyn Nets to start this season. They have struggled out of the gate and look like a lost team on the court. Meanwhile, the first year head coach hasn’t looked too comfortable behind the wheel of the operation. To make things worse, Kidd was just fined $50k by the NBA for what they say was intentionally spilling his drink on the court to stop the game.
The video is actually pretty hilarious and as you can see, Kidd tells Tyshawn Taylor to bump him and then he mysteriously dropped his cup. This was after the Nets had no timeouts and needed a delay of game to cook up a final play. We see why the NBA fined Kidd for this, but 50 racks seems a bit of an extreme. When it rains, it pours for the Nets right now.
