Ordinary Joe Budden made his return to ESPN 2’s First Take to join the debate desk with Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless and Cari Champion. Although the Super Bowl isn’t for another 9 days, Richard Sherman’s epic post game rant last Sunday has been the only topic in sports all week; including the commissioner Roger Goodell discussing it on CBS This Morning.
Budden has been on the show numerous times, and returning to the show this week made sense with the Super Bowl coming to his home state of New Jersey. The conversation focused on the big game, which Budden revealed his Super Bowl pick to the be the Denver Broncos, and thinks Peyton Manning will retire in Elway-form if he gets consecutive victories.
