It looks like Johnny Manziel is the latest athlete that is about to rock the swoosh. ESPN and Darren Rovell are reporting that Manziel has inked an endorsement deal with Nike. The exact terms of the deal have not been announced, but it is thought to be a multi-year partnership. Adidas, Under Armour and New Balance were among the brands that were chasing after Manziel, before he ultimately decided to go with Nike.

Manziel is currently preparing for the NFL draft and is thought to be a top-5 pick come May. This deal means that Nike’s roster of QB’s grows and already features the likes of Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. It is also worth noting that LeBron James’ marketing firm, LRMR and Maverick Carter, helped negotiate the deal between Manziel and Nike.
