Ever since Rafa Benitez took charge of Chelsea back in the center stages of November, fans have been wanting to see the back of him and the return of the special one, José Mourinho. Today the Portugese manager returned to the club in order to take over for the next four years, sparking the end of his three-year spell with Real Madrid. 2004-2007 saw José’s previous reign at the London club with an impressive two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups under his belt, which acted as some of the most successful years of Chelsea’s existence. It’s evident that there has always been a special connection between the manager and the club, with an interesting few years ahead in terms of fulfilling fans’ dreams of more success.
